I've loved bicycles since early childhood. Not only riding them, but I've always enjoyed fettling and tinkering with them - maintaining them, upgrading them, and improving them. I love all types of bike and types of riding.
In particular, I have a passion for improving or rebuilding old 1980's and 1990's mountain bikes (and 700c wheeled hybrids) into comfortable, useable and beautiful bikes to do whatever kinds of riding is required.

This site is part showcase for my bikes, and yours too if you want (send me some details and pics); part shop front - for a few specific items that I'd wished were more readily available during my own builds, and also for a parts finding service if there are specific parts you want finding, or advice on builds or bits, or bike builds to your specification, either using bikes you supply or ones that I source.
